Sabres agree to terms with Conboy

The 28-year-old winger skated 12 games with Carolina in 2009-10, compiling 34 penalty minutes without recording a point.

In 59 NHL contests, all with the Hurricanes, Conboy has six assists and 121 penalty minutes.

The most interesting game of the opening week will feature the NFC champion Bears as they hit the road to take on the NFL’s top team during last year’s regular season, the San Diego Chargers.
